Assigning approval:

You can assign the approval path when setting up the workflow to one of three different places within the document flow (After document creation, After document extraction, After document review), using the "+" button and then selecting -> Approval.

The approval path can then be set manually for each individual document, or automatically according to the set conditions.

If you want to assign approval paths automatically, select the option Approval -> Assign approval path -> Select approval path.

In the upper part of the table, fill in the name and define the conditions for this path.

In the case visible below, the path will be used for documents that have been reviewed and for which the total amount is higher than the equivalent of 10,000 CZK.

On the bottom part of this menu, you must either choose the approval from the list, or you can create a new path using the "+" button.

If you are creating a new approval path. A table will be displayed where you can define the order of users, or teams and accesses within this approval path.

Advanced settings:

Conditions can also have an "or" relationship between them.

This can be useful in situations similar to the one below:

- I want to set up approval based on the supplier's ID number, but some of my suppliers are foreign and the documents may only contain the local VAT ID. With the "or" condition, I can combine both possible number variants into one list for approval.

The setup of such an approval path will look like this:

Moving the approval step

You can easily move the approval to a different position in the workflow using drag and drop.

TIP:

Approval routes can also be combined with other automation actions. This makes it easier to allocate documents to individual items.
