In this guide, you will learn how to set up the transfer of documents from Google Drive to wflow.

Transfer parameters: The transfer is carried out using webhooks, meaning the file transfer occurs immediately after uploading to Google Drive

Setup on the wflow side (Marketplace)

Start by opening the menu on the left side of your screen and clicking on Marketplace.

When you open the Marketplace tab, look for the options mentioning Google Drive. We offer document transfers from Google Drive to wflow as well as from wflow to Google Drive.

After you click on one of these options, a new window will open. Here, you can confirm your choice by clicking on Configure.

Initial Configuration

When you confirm you want to set up communication from Google Drive to wflow, you'll be directed to the Initial Configuration guide.

First, you'll be able to choose and confirm the name of the chosen integration.

Next, you'll be asked to connect you Google account. To connect you account, simply click on Connect and choose the account you want to connect.

Important note:

The current version does not have a certificate from Google, which should be available in later versions. The integration is secure, you just need to grant permission that you trust this integration.

To confirm the integration, click on Advanced options.

A new option will appear, which will confirm the integration.

Finally, you'll be able to grant access to your Google Drive.

In the following window, you will see a ocnfirmation. You can close this and return to wflow.

Select Drive

Select Google Drive and Folder - select the folder in Google Drive from which documents will be transferred.

Wflow - Document type

Select document type - Selection of the Document type in wflow where invoices from Google Drive will be uploaded.

  • Additional information and rules

  • In the integration settings, all available folders and subfolders to which the user has access will be offered

  • Only one folder can be selected per instance from which documents will be taken – subfolders of the selected folder are ignored

  • Only documents that have not yet been transferred will be transferred to wflow

  • If a document has already been transferred but was subsequently edited in any way, it will not be transferred to wflow again

  • An automatic check for untransferred documents runs at night

  • Only documents in supported formats will be transferred to wflow

    • supported formats are: PDF, XML, images (png, jpeg, jpg), ISDOC/ISDOCX

  • Documents in unsupported formats will NOT be transferred to wflow

    • Excel, Word, folders are not supported

  • Multi-instance

    • Allowed – If the user wants to define more folders from Google Drive, or divide them into more document types in wflow
