Custom views

A custom view allows you to view exactly the documents that are relevant to a certain user at a single click in the application.

You can use the custom view, for example, when you pay approved invoices from wflow using the bank connection. After adding a custom view, the user can see if there are documents in the organization to pay before he clicks on the custom view. The custom view is displayed in the main navigation bar of wflow.

Tip: If you need to work primarily with documents in a custom view, you can set the custom view as the default screen that appears when you open the organization.

Creating your own view

In the main navigation menu on the left side, there is now an icon + Add view in My Tasks section.

After clicking it, you will be taken to a window for creating a new view.

In this step, choose from ready-made templates or create a completely new view.

Click Own to create a view exactly to your liking.

Name the view and select a desired icon.

If you want to see how many documents apply to the view conditions in the navigation bar next to the view, tick "Show label with number of documents".

Now all that's left to do is define which documents are covered by the view using filter conditions.

In our example of foreign currency invoices, you will use the condition "Currency does not equal CZK" and combine it with the condition "Document type equals Invoices received".

Save the new view and it will be available in the main menu.

Adding a custom view to Dashboard:

For a custom view to appear in a tile on the Dashboard, "Show label with number of documents" must be set.

The number of documents and the view icon will also be displayed in the Dashboard. It is recommended to choose different icons so that the views can be distinguished at a glance.
