If you use the function for issuing invoices and orders in wflow.com, you can customize the visual appearance and structure of the Print Templaes, which are the templates used to generate the PDF file after a document is created.

To configure Print Templates, go to Settings > Customization > Print Templates.

You can create a print template from scratch. However, we recommend that you start with an existing template that is already available for you to use. This way, you can copy one of the basic templates and then select Edit.

The editing mode will be displayed across the entire window.

Working with print template edit mode

Throughout the editing process, a template preview is available and will show the current layout of all elements on the page.

The panel of available elements can be found on the left side of the editor. You can insert new elements onto the page using Drag & Drop, i.e. by grabbing an element and moving it to a specific location on the template.

Tip: Don't forget to insert your logo into the template using the Image element.

After clicking on a specific element on the page, you can change the text formatting in the top part of the panel. On the right side, you can adjust the precise location of the chosen element on that page as well as it's dimensions.

Data fields

The data field is used to transfer the specific data filled in when creating the document to the correct field on the template. For example, the data field {Data::PartnerIC} is assigned for the partner ID. Therefore, if you enter {Data::PartnerIC} in the text on the template, this part will be automatically replaced by the corresponding partner ID that is selected on the document when the template is generated.

Insert the data field into the selected item via the "Insert data field" button.

A structured list of folders with data fields will be displayed, click to the left side of a folder to expand it. After selecting the appropriate data field, confirm the selection.

Adding another page to the template

You can add a page in the navigation menu > Insert > Page

Renaming the template

You can edit the template name by clicking on the current name in the upper left corner.

ALL MODIFICATIONS MUST BE SAVED BEFORE CLOSING THE WINDOW

In the navigation bar, open File > Save

After saving, you can close editing mode.
